Are you in Christ?

Are you in Christ? of course yes! we all have the same answer..i pray,i communicate with god,i do things for god,so i am in Christ. is   it really so or is it just our own feeling.if you are in Christ, you obey Christ. you keep faith in all the circumstances..when troubles come,we don't need to run to different people .Jesus has given you the authority to talk to him.if we are in Christ we boldly face problems .you and god can deal it.being bitter and angry when problems come, makes the Satan others..have a good relationship with other humans.
"If you shut other people out, then you also imprison yourself. We like it or not,Jesus has taught us to love each other ,as he had loved us.(John 15:12).We have to be involved with one another,be for one another.yes! you will get hurt. But god is your healer. He lives in you and he can fix what anybody does to you.So if you claim you are in Christ, then show Christ to others!

Gear faith,bury fear!

ARE you afraid of black magic? are you afraid of witch crafts or any evil the enemy does to ruin you??Then.... you lack faith.Once a person has accepted the authority of Jesus Christ,he has the holy-spirit dwelling within(John14:16). if we have full faith  and understanding in our creator,we have dominion over all the evil works of Satan, may it be witchcraft or black magic or any evil the enemy does to us.If u lack faith,u can be hurt or defended by devil.Jesus came to destroy the works of evil. Believe that No weapon formed against you will prosper . Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them. Jesus alone holds the keys to death and hell.  Put up our shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. The Lord is our shield and buckler, the lifter of our head. He will be a wall of fire around us, and the glory in our midst. IF lord is our strength, Of whom shall we be afraid. He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and love. His  warring angels will drive out the enemy's forces in the name of Jesus.  Holy Spirit will be our shield, our comfort.Praise You Jesus, the Defender of all evil !

Be a comforter,not ruiner

Recently i got a very touching letter from one of my friend..and it made me think a lot..and i felt every word she said was perfectly true..she had  explained the world around us...and people around us.the hurts she experienced...  ..some decisions in our life make us  realize  who our real & true friends are.
Friends & loved ones whom we have helped and cared a lot fail to recognize you or avoid you... It is sad that   someone uses U only for their selfish needs..At the same time, I have seen friends -who have never sought any help for selfish things from me- rise up to be true friends. I have seen total strangers act like angels-sent-from-heaven lending a helping hand when U needed them in an adverse situation. When I would be feeling at the lowest, a good friend or two would call me on phone just like that, to be shoulder to lean upon as if they felt my feelings and that would uplift my spirits.  but I feel that God was teaching me that how one should ‘be’ or ‘not be’ to others in life. I have felt God’s love in many ways -sometimes it maybe a phone call from a friend whom U hadn't be expecting to call or maybe a chat in FB.;  I knew those hard times too will pass by God’s grace. This time I have vowed that when God gives me strength in my hands to support others in need, I will by God’s grace rise to the occasion. I also ask you all too to be a comforter & friend-in-need to a family member or a relative or a friend, where sometimes at least a phone call would be valued very much.Be a blessing to a comforter not a ruiner!

Under his wings!

I am happy that today's post is a testimony too! God has been showing his love in many ways..and today i realised that i am under his protection and nothing can come near me.His angels will protect us and our family. We  were saved from a massive fire that brokeout in our next flat. And before it entered our flat, god stopped it.Eventhough my fellowmates were worried about our home as wewere standing outside the building, without knowingwhat was happening inside, fear never came to me.As i stood there and prayed i saw my home, protected by his angels. And there was no place for fear in my mind.
"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone"(psalms (91).That day,i realized the meaning of this psalm.

                                                         PSALMS 91

"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you,no disaster will come near your tent.
 For he will command his angels concerning youto guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands,so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the cobra;you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
  “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
He will call on me, and I will answer him;I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.

With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.

Secured in him

Have you ever felt that u are in the middle of problems all alone and there is nothing more to be done and only to give up!Have u ever felt that your enemy won the game and made you a loser?Yes.. all of us must have experienced it at any phase of our life.some people overcome it  but some cannot.I  believed that i was among the' cannot' ones at a point of time in my life. For sometime i had the feeling that my enemy won over me. But god didn't allow me to keep that feeling for long.He gave me the words..  "A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape." (prov:19.5)
I felt a warmth but he pain was still there..But god continued to  give me  words.. "I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed".(Genesis12.3).I knew god wanted to make me happy and he was giving me all words and messages  to make me stronger..I knew If the righteous is repaid on earth, how much more the wicked ?Jesus gave me answers to all my questions.Jesus was betrayed by a kiss,by the one who was with him all the time, whom he trusted. If it can happen to Jesus,we are humans.Have you been undercut by someone who was supposed to be a loyal confidant? If you have, you know the wounds a friend can leave when he or she no longer is a friend! If we know the pain ,just think that Jesus also had the same pain.when i started thinking that way,my mind was cleared and my pains were vanished. We are secured in him. No one can take away god's blessings from us.God always take away people from your life because they don't deserve you.He will bless you with more god-fearing and loyal friends...And i thank god for blessing me with many good people around me.whenever i think i'm in the middle of any problem,i just sing........

"എല്ലാ വഴികളും എന്റെ മുൻപിൽ  ശത്രു  ബന്ധിച്ചു  മുദ്ര  വയ്ച്ചാൽ ,,,,,,,,

സ്വർഗ്ഗ കവാടം തുറക്കും  എനിക്കായി സൈന്യം വരും നിശ്ചയം "

This song has helped me a lot .I sing it everyday because it helps me every minute to feel his love, the confidence that no enemy can touch me.He strengthens me...Today, if you are broken in anyways, just listen to this song and i assure you will rise up with confidence!

Worship driven Life

Worship is our thanksgiving to god..often worships helps us to create an atmosphere where we can experience god's presence..Worships can change our life,,our spiritual closeness to god.whenever i come with a heavy heart or distress, the worship helps me to get strengthened and be  more faithful than i was minutes before. There is a power in says"Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! ... (psalms150:1).our praises ae thankgiving for his wonderful works .James 5:13 says    "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise." I sing praises when i am cheerful aswell as in my deep distress. It often gave me comforts and my tears were wiped off.My spiritual  life was changed by a worship few years back.till that i was a normal prayer person who prays and reads bible daily. But i got the touch of god in the middle of a worship. And that night i could write a song of praise to him.Worhip can give us an experience which can be only felt, not explained.Let us worship our lord with all that we have!

" Oh come, Let us sing to the Lord,
Oh come, Let us sing praises to the Lord..
Thank him for his wondrous works..
Thank him for his mighty works..
For he is Lord our Jehovah..

        Enter his gates with thanksgiving
        Enter his courts with praises
Enter his Kingdom with psalms and hymns
For he is Lord our Jehovah...

Praise him with cymbals and harps
Praise him wth trumphets and lyres
Praise him with strings and pipe
For he is lord our jehova..

Worship him with a joyful noise
Worship him with the sound of melody
    Worship him with  thankful lips
For he is lord our jehovah...

"Now faith is being sure of what we hopefor and certain of what we do not see" (hebrew 11.1)

We  all talk about faith. But do we really know what is faith.."Faith only comes through learning, the learning of the word of god"(romans 10:17).And without faith, it is impossible to please god"(romans14:23).We cannot serve god without faith.I cannot  prove my faith  but I can admit that our faith can change our lives..I have seen miracles of faith  in the lives of people around me and even myself.we always wish to increase our faith.but giveup very soon! Starting our journey wth jesus requires that we immerse ourselves in hisword.(titus1:13).We must have a relationship with him first. If we seek him, we will find him.(1peter1:7)says" He will use trials to test  our faith and make us stronger."Our faith can do wonders in our lives. "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If you  have faith as a grain of mustard seed you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. These are the powefulo words in mathew 17:20.It is not meant to imply a faith that can literally move literal mountains.Jesus promises that evena a little bit of faith, the size of a tiny mustard seed can overcome montainous obsctacles in our lives. We have a sin nature that holds us back.God isn't holding us back! We are!Jesus is telling us that nothing, no matter what, is impossible provided you have faith.
The bible gives us many exampes of people with faith in hebrews 11.The whole chapter teaches us about faith god's people had and how it helped them.

It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did. Abel's offering gave evidence that he was a righteous man, and God showed his approval of his gifts. Although Abel is long dead, he still speaks to us by his example of faith.(heb11.4)
Abel was the second son of adam and eve. He found favor in God's eyes by offering him a pleasing sacrifice. As a result, Abel was murdered by his older brother Cain.

It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying."he disappeared, because God took him.He was  a person who pleased God. And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.(hebrew11:5)
Enoch walked with God. He so pleased the Lord that he was spared the experience of death.

By faith, Abraham when god tested offered Issac as a sacrifice.(heb11:17)..God was not trying to get Abraham to do something wrong. God does not want human or child sacrifices.
(Deuteronomy 12:31, Leviticus 20:2-5, Jeremiah 32:35, Ezekiel 20:26, Isaiah 57:4-5). But  he was asking Abraham to trust Him.God also used this , not only test Abraham but to be a testimony of his faith in God. Here we are about 4000 years later talking about the great faith of Abraham as seen through this story.God had already promised to Abraham that his seed would be multiplied through his son Isaac. Abraham trusted that even if he  had killed Isaac, God would raise him from the dead so that the promised nation would come through him (Hebrews 11:17-19).

It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise.(heb11:11)

It was by faith that Isaac promised blessings for the future to his sons, Jacob and Esau.

It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith.(hebrew11:7)

It was by faith that Jacob, when he was old and dying, blessed each of Joseph's sons and bowed in worship as he leaned on his staff.(heb11:21)

It was by faith that Joseph, when he was about to die, said confidently that the people of Israel would leave Egypt. He even commanded them to take his bones with them when they left.(hebrew11:22)

Moses followed god's call  through great faith. He did not see himself as the man God could use to take on bigger tasks. However, through faith he led the Israelites as God desired.

Joshua led the nation of Israel as a man of faith.

Through faith Gideon, with a small army, conquered the Midianites.
There are many more people whose faith led them to do greater things..Our faith can also do wonders in our life.God isn't holding us back! But we are!

Being Esther

And who knows but that you have come to this royal position for such a time as this?”

What is our God-given mission?Have we thought of it anytime! What is it that God wants you or me to do that we’re not so comfortable doing? If we do it we could be ridiculed or persecuted.Do we have the courage to do such things? We might feel some embarrassment or we might feel it as a shame. We might find ourselves going against the flow, losing family or friends, fame , health, love or even life. We need the courage to do god given missions. These God-given missions don’t necessarily have to be life and death. They may just be opportunities to help others out with some self-sacrifice.Are we ready to sacrifice ourselves to help anyone?often it is a No. Queen Esther teaches us about a God-driven submission.Esther is a great example of a courageous woman in bible..Esther was an orphan who was exalted by god. she saved  the jews by her courage and boldness. When her cousin, Mordecai asked for Esther's help, he assured her that God was going to bring his people through the difficulties they faced. If Esther refused, then she would receive punishment along with the people who wanted to kill the Jews. But Mordecai also challenged Esther.

For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this”(esther4:14).. It took courage and boldness for Esther to approach the king for her mission. She was literally risking her life, as she herself was a Jew. She took the courage to do the god given mission for her. We, too, may have to risk all that is dear to us when we speak up for what is right. And like Esther, we can be sure that the results of our efforts are in God's hands - even if it costs us our lives to do what is right. When we trust God, things in our lives never happen accidently. When the stream of hope dries up in our lives, we should listen carefully to God's instructions for what he wants us to do next.God will speak to us through our prayers. It is dangerous for us to staywhere God supplied our needs yesterday, when he instructs us to move on to some new provisions today. It is a beyond imagination  to leave the place of our past comfort and security, but  we have to believe that the same God who took care of us yesterday will take care of us today, tomorrow and every stages in our life. God never forgets our labour of love. God has a preparation time for all of us. He has his own time for everything in our lives. Moses spent 40 years in the desert looking after sheep before coming to deliver the Israelites. Joseph was in jail until it was God's time for him to be released.
